SIT Study Abroad offers you a unique way to
learn in another culture. We offer a wide variety of programs throughout
the world, with each program's curriculum designed around a theme. This
theme, examined in an interdisciplinary manner, provides a central focus
for your classroom studies and your independent study projects. Consequently,
a program's academic content should be considered when evaluating your
study abroad options.
SIT Study Abroad welcomes applications from
undergraduate students who are in good academic standing at any college
or university and who have completed at least one year of college-level
coursework at the time of application for semester programs, or at least
one to three semesters of college-level work at the time of application
for summer programs. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade
point average of 2.5. Some programs have additional language requirements
or other prerequisites. These are explained program-by-program in our
catalog and summer catalog, or on individual program application pages.
