An Eastern Kentucky University construction management instructor has been recognized for teaching excellence.
The Associated Schools of Construction selected Scott Arias, in his third year at EKU, for the Regional Excellence Teaching Award for Region 3.
Hansen Re-Elected Region 5 SPJ Director
Dr. Elizabeth Hansen, professor of communication at Eastern Kentucky University, has been re-elected to a second two-year term as Region 5 director of the Society of Professional Journalists.
As a director, Hansen will continue to serve on SPJ’s national board of directors and will be responsible for serving the organization’s chapters in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky.
