Billy Cameron, Mt. Vernon, a junior agriculture major at Eastern Kentucky University, was recently named president of the national Delta Tau Alpha organization.
Ten students from the EKU DTA chapter, which Cameron serves as president, attended the recent national convention of Delta Tau Alpha, an honorary society for agriculture students.

Now, one of its residents has been named honorable mention All-American Cow in the Milking Yearling class. Only six cows nationally were nominated for All-American honors.

Three Eastern Kentucky University agriculture students -- Eric Phelps, of Somerset, Tyler Rench, of Bradford, Ohio, and Scott Benjamin, of Bethel, Ohio --attended the 2013 International Poultry Exposition in Atlanta, Ga., Jan. 29-31.
