Lt. Col. Brett Morris, Ret., has been named director of admissions at Eastern Kentucky University.

Senior from Richmond One of 59 Tillman Military Scholars Nationwide

­An Eastern Kentucky University senior from Richmond is one of 59 Tillman Military Scholars nationwide.

Andrew Napier, a biology/pre-medical science major who served six years in the Army National Guard after graduating from Madison Central High School in 2006, will use the $9,000 scholarship to finish his studies at EKU this fall and prepare for medical school.

Bechtel Parsons Assists Student Veteran Relief Fund

Eastern Kentucky University has received more than $7,000 in employee donations and matching funds from Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass for the University’s Student Veteran Relief Fund endowment project.

The Fund is being developed as part of EKU Operation Veteran Success, a series of initiatives designed to make Eastern an even more veteran-helpful campus.
