The Eastern Kentucky University Center for Economic Education, with support from EKU’s Office of Regional Stewardship, commemorated the sesquicentennial anniversary of the Civil War in Kentucky recently by providing a workshop for teachers in grades 4-8 that highlighted how economics can help students better understand this period of history.
Virtual Economics Program Available Free of Charge to K-12 Teachers throughout Region
The Eastern Kentucky UniversityCenter for Economic Education, with support from the Council for Economic Education and State Farm, will work with the Kentucky Council on Economic Education and centers at Northern Kentucky University and Morehead State University to provide training and free copies of the Virtual Economics4.0 CD-ROM (a $99.95 value) to K-12 teachers in schools
