Whitehouse Named among "100 Awesome Deans of Public Health"
Dr. Deborah Whitehouse, dean of the College of Health Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University, is one of only three Kentucky educators, and the only representative of a regional university in the Commonwealth, named among the “100 Awesome Deans of Public Health.”
New Doctoral Degree Program in Occupational Therapy Is University's Third
Eastern Kentucky University will launch a doctoral degree program in occupational therapy in Spring 2013.
The University’s third doctoral degree program was formally approved on June 21 by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. Eastern already offers doctoral degrees in educational leadership and policy studies and in nursing practice.
Whitehouse Named Dean of College of Health Sciences
Dr. Deborah Whitehouse has been named dean of Eastern Kentucky University’s College of Health Sciences.
A long-time chair of EKU’s Department of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing, she had served as interim dean of the college since October, 2011.
