New Doctoral Degree Program in Occupational Therapy Is University's Third
Eastern Kentucky University will launch a doctoral degree program in occupational therapy in Spring 2013.
The University’s third doctoral degree program was formally approved on June 21 by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. Eastern already offers doctoral degrees in educational leadership and policy studies and in nursing practice.
Photo Voice Project by OT Graduate Student Helps Pregnant, Parenting Teens
A graduate student in Eastern Kentucky University’s Occupational Therapy program is helping pregnant and parenting teens through the use of photography and journaling.
Patricia Truesdell, who will graduate this year from EKU’s nationally ranked master’s degree program in OT, worked with Emily Helton, a 2008 EKU OT graduate.
Faculty Member Chosen to Present Zemke Lecture in Occupational Science
Dr. Doris Pierce, endowed chair in Occupational Therapy at Eastern Kentucky University, was recently chosen by the Society for the Study of Occupation: USA to present the 10th annual Ruth Zemke Lecture in Occupational Science.
