Endowment and Student Support
A gift to establish or add to an endowed fund allows you to support EKU in perpetuity. Your initial gift remains intact while a portion of the investment returns are used to provide permanent support for a University program, student scholarship or faculty position. The Foundation invests endowed funds so they will grow and, hopefully, maintain their purchasing power through all economic cycles. Your name lives on through your gift and helps ensure the continued success of the University.
Adding to Eastern's endowment also helps the University ensure campus learning opportunities and educational access expand. Many individuals find they are able to attend EKU thanks to the financial aid offered by endowed scholarship funds. Eastern's funding priorities demonstrate the importance of resources directed to our students. This echoes Eastern's call of being an institution where "Students and Learning Come First."
The minimum gift amount to endow a fund at Eastern is $10,000. This gift may be pledged and paid over a span of years if you so desire.
