Memorial and Naming Opportunities

Making a gift that qualifies for naming recognition is an ideal way to create a lasting legacy for yourself, a loved one, or someone you would like to honor. Naming opportunities exist across campus for endowed funds and capital needs. Naming requests are submitted to the Board of Directors of the Eastern Kentucky University Foundation which, in turn, forwards approved proposals on to the EKU Board of Regents for their endorsement. Gift amounts required to name endowed scholarships, programs and academic positions have been approved by the EKU Foundation Board.

Other opportunities for naming facilities, departments, etc. also exist and are based on the cost of the project or area. For more information on any of these options, please contact the development office at 859-622-1583.

Should you prefer to make a smaller, one-time gift in honor or memory of someone, simply send a note with your check reflecting a name and address for notifying the appropriate party of your gift. If you wish to designate a specific fund into which your gift should be placed, please also include that information.
