This is the Greek Giving Challenge

Welcome back to what is sure to be another exciting year at EKU! As you begin to gear up for the semester, we want to encourage your chapter to participate in the Greek Giving Challenge. Would you like the seniors from your RSO to win the ultimate EKU going away present?

The Greek Giving Challenge is a part of the Senior Challenge Program here on campus. This is an initiative that extends a campus wide challenge to all graduating seniors to give back to Eastern Kentucky University the semester that they graduate. We have all gained so much from our Eastern experience, why not say “thank you” before you go?

The goal of the Senior Challenge Program is participation. We aren’t trying to raise millions, but we are trying to raise awareness on the importance of giving back at whatever level you can. In order to meet the challenge, all your seniors have to do is give something… anything. When looking at participation, one dollar counts as much as one hundred!

The graduating senior members and advisers of any chapter that has 100% participation will be invited to attend a special event at the end of the semester. From those chapters with 100% participation, one chapter will be selected to be our Greek Challenge Ultimate Givers. This chapter will be the one that has the highest average giving per member, and will receive a $75 Aramark food grant to be used anytime between now and June 30, 2008.

We are asking you, as seniors to participate, and since we anticipate they will have some additional questions, please see the next attached page for further information about the Senior Challenge.

Please help us make a difference at EKU by saying “yes” to the Senior Challenge. It starts with your RSO.
