Artists Elmore, Grenwell to Discuss Work in Live @ Your Library Event

A fantasy artist known for helping set the standard for gaming art and an acclaimed sculptor of super hero figures, both from Kentucky, will discuss their work during a Live @ Your Library event at Eastern Kentucky University.

Larry Elmore, best known for his artistry on the popular game Dungeons and Dragons, and Sam Greenwell, noted for his freelance designs for DC Direct and Diamond Select Toys, will address “Marketing Yourself and Your Art” on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. in the Grand Reading Room of the John Grant Crabbe Main Library. The event is free and open to the public.

Elmore, who was born in Louisville and grew up in Grayson County, is also known for his work in the world of Dragonlance and his freelance work in several magazines and comic books. Greenwell, who resides in Georgetown, is best known for his super hero work, including figures and statues of Marvel and DC favorites like Wolverine, Spiderman, Lobo and Hawkgirl.
