EKU Again Ranks in Top Tier of Southern Regional Universities
Eastern Kentucky University again ranks in the top tier of Regional Universities in the South in the 2012 edition of “Best Colleges,” published by U.S. News Media Group.
EKU ranks 63rd among 90 universities in the top tier. This is the second consecutive year that Eastern has placed in the top tier. The 2012 Best Colleges package compares more than 1,400 accredited four-year schools on a set of up to 16 widely accepted indicators of excellence. Among the many factors weighed in determining the rankings, the key measures of quality are: peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources and alumni giving.
