Faculty-Student Duo Receives KAS Research Grant

The EKU faculty-student team of Dr. Gary Ritchison, professor of biological sciences, and Joshua Suich, Morristown, Tenn., received one of eight research grants recently awarded by the Kentucky Academy of Science.

The grant for Ritchison and Suich was for a project entitled “Possible functions of tail-pumping by male and female American Kestrels.”

The Kentucky Academy of Science Foundation funds research planned and conducted by KAS members of Kentucky secondary schools, colleges and universities under the supervision of a faculty member. For more details about the grant program, visit kyscience.org/programs/kas-research-grants.
