Nursing Students to Conduct Community Health Fair at Local Church July 18
Eastern Kentucky University senior public health nursing students will conduct a community health fair at Tates Creek Baptist Church on Friday, July 18.
The event, free and open to the public, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. The church is located at 1255 Boonesborough Road, just off Exit 95 of I-75.
Attendees will benefit from displays and health information related to bicycle safety, backpack safety for children, sun safety, vehicular safety, adult health screenings, emergency preparedness, poison prevention, hearing protection, and substance abuse.
The Madison County Health Department, Kiwanis Club of Richmond, Richmond Lions Club and the Kidney Health Alliance of Kentucky have partnered with EKU nursing students to conduct the fair.
