Senior Receives Tau Sigma Scholarship
Keri Brown, Ludlow, a senior biology major at Eastern Kentucky University, has received a $1,000 scholarship from the national chapter of Tau Sigma, an academic honor society designed specifically to “recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students.”
Brown transferred to Eastern in Fall 2012 from the University of Louisville. After she earns her baccalaureate degree, she plans to enroll in graduate school at Indiana University in pursuit of a master’s degree in environmental science, with a concentration in energy.
An active member of Tau Sigma since Fall 2013, Brown currently serves as vice president of the newly organized Tau Sigma chapter at EKU. She is also president of the campus chapter of the Energy Club.
