Washington Monthly Recognizes EKU for Contributions to Public Good
For the fourth consecutive year, Eastern Kentucky University has earned national recognition for its contribution to the public good.
EKU was honored along with 683 other Master’s Universities nationwide in the 2013 Washington (DC) Monthly College Guide and Rankings. (Eastern also offers three doctoral degrees – in educational leadership and policy studies, nursing practice and occupational therapy.)
Washington Monthly rates schools based on their contributions to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility (recruiting and graduating low-income students), research and service (encouraging students to give something back to their country).
