The Blackboard company has acquired the Safe Assignments software, which we have been using since 2003 as our plagiarism detection service. To continue using this valuable feature, we must turn off our access to the software for a brief time, allowing the company to move all of our existing files related to Safe Assignments into their new environment.
You must PLAN NOT TO HAVE ACCESS TO SAFE ASSIGNMENTS from May 13-15, 2008. We expect the company's work to proceed quickly and we will open the SafeAssign feature as soon as their work is completed.
This change has no effect for students.

All of the main functions of Safe Assignments will work the same way in SafeAssign.
