How to stop displaying class average scores when students view their grades:

  1. Open your Grade Center
  2. Locate the column you wish to change
  3. Click the "down arrow" on the column header and select Modify Column
  4. In the third section ("Options") on the Modify Column window, select "No" for the item labeled Show Statistics
  5. Click Submit

The class average score for an item in your gradebook is often meaningless and distracting. Many instructors have wanted to turn it off from students' view, and these steps accomplish that task!
