How to stop displaying class average scores when students view their grades:

  1. Open your Gradebook
  2. Click Gradebook Settings (at the top)
  3. Click Column Settings
  4. UNcheck "Display Average Score"
  5. Click Submit

The class average score for an item in your gradebook is often meaningless and distracting. Many instructors have wanted to turn it off from students' view, and these steps accomplish that task!
