Course Title: Instructional Media and Technology
Course Section Information: This course is designed to instruct students in the philosophy and techniques of effective utilization of instructional media and technology. Credit is not awarded for both LIB 769 and LIB 569.

The Bb course site will be available for students to access on or before Jan. 4, 2010(7 days prior to the official start date of the class). Students should access the course no later than Jan. 8, 2010 and have their textbook in-hand on before Monday, Jan. 11, 2010.

This is a 100% online course. Therefore, students should expect this course to be demanding of their time and for this to be work intensive course. Students are advised to plan their fall schedules accordingly and to arrange to have access to the Internet and the course Bb site throughout the term.

Students are required to have access and utilize to the following software programs throughout the term: Microsoft Office Suite 2000 or later versions (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.), Photoshop Elements, Dream Weaver, Movie Maker 2 -- plus several "free" online softwares will be required (shared via the course site).

Students are required to utilize their EKU student e-mail account throughout the term for this course (check in daily).

The Blackboard (Bb) course site will be available for students to access and begin the "introductory module" on or before Jan. 4, 2010. The "introductory module" information will help students to be ready to begin the course on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010. The course syllabus, course schedule, group introductions/assignments and textbook information will be available through the introductory module posted within the Bb course site.

Please note this is a 'work intensive' course -- students are advised to keep that in mind in planning their course load and working schedules for this term.

Students must use their EKU student e-mail (daily).
Students must use their EKU student web space (their W drive) to display their final web site developed in this course.
