Advanced Technical Writing and Document Production
Course Section Information:
This course is 100% online, but students will be REQUIRED to meet online from 6-8 pm on Wednesdays. This is a hands-on course where you will create and post a personal website, an electronic portfolio, and a group website by learning the fundamentals of successful web design, and then applying those principles within Dreamweaver CS3. In terms of design theory, you will learn about layout & composition, color, typography, texture, and imagery. In terms of practical tools, you will learn about Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), the mighty -div- tag, liquid layouts, spry menu effects, and synchronizing your files.

Students can attend class in any of the EKU computer labs which have Adobe Creative Suite installed or they can purchase the software for @$300 from the EKU computer store and work from home.
