Course Section Information: Overview of crime and its control. Examine lawmaking, law breaking, and the social reponse from theoretical perspectives, including social, economic, cultural, symbolic, psychological, and biological. Includes historical and contemporary development.

Pre-requisite: CRJ 101, with a grade of "C" or better, sophomore standing, or departmental approval. Credit will not be awarded to students who have credit for PLS 331.
