Course Section Information: For elementary, middle or high school social studies teachers.
Critical study and application of investigative and theoretical literature dealing with the teaching of social studies.
This course will address three elements:
1. local, state and national history, culture and geography
2. Web 2.0 technology appropriate for the K-12 social studies student
3.The creation of classroom ready activities are aligned to Social Studies for the Next Generation: The C3 Framework for Social Studies & Common Core Standards for Literacy in History/Social Studies
