Welcome Back, Colonels!

Fall semester is here! Thousands of students flooded the #CampusBeautiful on the first day of classes, Aug. 21, following a relaxing summer break. As they navigated their way to classes, they passed familiar sights such as the Ravine and the Centennial Man statue, as well as new additions to the EKU landscape, like the recently completed Martin and North residence halls.

Throughout the week, Colonels were treated to special events, such as Rec the Ravine, a kickoff party held by Campus Recreation, and the Welcome Dinner for international students. Adapting quickly to the first-week excitement (and ongoing construction projects), students easily found quiet spaces to study, relax or chat with friends between classes.

Here’s looking forward to a fun and productive semester!
