Welcome to Case Dining Hall

It’s official – EKU’s newest facility is open for business.

About 100 guests from Eastern Kentucky University, Aramark Educational Services and the local community gathered for the ribbon cutting on Case Dining Hall Feb. 7, 2018. They were treated to music, speeches, tours and a banquet complete with fine cuisine.

Speakers included President Michael T. Benson; Dr. Gene Palka, vice president of student success; Kristi Middleton, chief external affairs officer; Laura Jackson, student body president; Dr. Billy Martin, associate vice president and chief student affairs officer; and Craig Turner, chairman of the board of regents.

The 55,000-square-foot dining hall is part of the most comprehensive campus revitalization initiative in the University’s history. The Case Dining Hall event was the fifth grand-opening held in the 2017-2018 academic year alone, following two modern residence halls, the Eastern Scholar House for single-parent students, a completed Science Building and EKU’s first multi-story parking garage.
