The Gift Shop at the Hummel Planetarium is open from 8:00 am through 4:30 pm each Monday through Friday, or any other time the Planetarium is open. The majority of items for sale are related directly to astronomy, space science, or science in general. Items are reasonably priced and most encourage "hands-on" experiences.

We carry prisms to create "rainbows" of light or to experiment with the nature of light. We have gyroscopes, radiometers, microscopes, and tornado tubes. We carry star charts and dozens of astronomical posters. We offer T-shirts, puzzles, space figures, patches, balls, stomp rockets, mobiles, glow stars, sundials, key chains, "space" food, magnetic items, and hundreds of other items. We also have home planetariums if you want to project and observe the stars on your own ceiling.

We are also available to advise you on the purchase of binoculars, telescopes, and related observational equipment, but we do not sell this equipment.
