Madison County Diabetes Day

  
Diabetes is a serious and potentially life threatening illness that affects people of all ages, race & ethnicity. It is the seventh leading cause of death in Kentucky and costs Kentuckians nearly 3 billion dollars.
The 9th Annual Diabetes Prevention & Awareness Day is aimed at prevention and early intervention of this disease and will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Richmond, Kentucky from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 a.m. The health fair will offer FREE health screenings & diabetes testing including glucose, cholesterol, vision, and kidney function screenings. There will also be numerous educational booths and opportunities for door prizes.
