The Shadow Box

The winner of both a Tony Award and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, The Shadow Box is a poignant drama set in three cabins on the grounds of a hospital. Inside the cabins, Joe, Brian, and Felicity are reuniting with their respective families and chronicling their experience as post-treatment patients who now face the end of life.

You will laugh, you will cry and be moved by these patients and their families as you gain an elevated understanding of this sacred time of life.

The Shadow Box is being directed by EKU Communications student Angela Bailey-Davis and includes talented performers from EKU, Berea, Richmond and Lexington. This exciting event will be the first theatrical production in the Black Box theater and is a result of a partnership between the EKU Center for the Arts and Hospice Care Plus.
