DONATIONS NEEDED: SAAC Collection for "Day of Hope"
The EKU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will collect toiletry items at EKU’s basketball double-header on Nov. 9 for the 10th annual “Day of Hope,” which helps more than 800 Madison County families in need around the Thanksgiving holiday by providing food, healthcare screenings, children’s activities, clothing and other resources to have a comfortable and happy holiday season.
Donated items can include: deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other toiletry items. Collection will begin at the doors of Alumni Coliseum at 4:45 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m.
If you are not able to make it to the games and wish to donate, items can be taken to the Bratzke Center (Alumni Coliseum 103).
