DISCUSSION AND INFORMATION SESSION: CRJ 423/897 "Justice and Revolution in Cuba"

  
Join Professors Salome Nnoromele and Chuck Fields, and the group of students who recently returned from Cuba for a slide presentation and discussion about this unique educational experience. Fields will also discuss the Spring section of the 3 credit hour course being planned for late March/early April 2013. The class is designed to introduce undergraduate and graduate students to the social, political, cultural and justice systems of one of the last remaining Socialist nations still in existence today. The group will spend 10 days in Cuba visiting Havana, Santa Clara, Trinidad, and Pinar del Rio, meeting with various groups and officials, as well as touring several historical sites and museums in the country. Passport and visa (supplied) required. Faculty and staff are also invited to participate.
