Alpha Phi Omega is a co-ed service fraternity that was founded upon the principles of the Boy Scouts of America. We provide opportunities to serve our campus, community, and country. EKU's chapter, Alpha Zeta Kappa, has worked with many service organizations, and we encourage leadership, friendship, and service through workshops, fellowships, and service events.Come see what we are all about! Maroon SHRM will be having their first meeting of the spring semester this Thursday at 4:45pm in Room 201 of the BTC.
We will be choosing two new officers, COO (Vice President) and CFO (Treasurer). We will also be setting a schedule for the semester and discussing topics for guest speakers.

The EKU Police Department is offering a free self defense class for all EKU women students, faculty, staff and alumni. The R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) training is a 12 hour course provided on three consecutive evenings. The first class of the spring semester will be held beginning Monday, February 4 and running through Wednesday, February 6 from 6-10pm nightly at the Perkins Building in Quad A. James David Appeared on hit TV show, Glee, as a Dalton Academy Warbler. He has sang backup for artist such as Katy Perry, Queen Latifa, and Mary J Blige. He sang lead for for Disney Dance Crew show at Disney California Adventure Park and he also performed at Barry Gordy (Motown) Philadelphia tribute show. Jetty Rae is also a singer and songwriter, originally from Northern Michigan and has been singing, touring, and recording since 2004. Jetty has garnered the attention of such entities as JetBlue when she played at opening of their new Terminal at JFK International Airport. MTV.com interviewed Jetty for their 'Needle In The Haystack' series, and her song 'I Love You,' was selected for a free download of the week and featured on their up-and-coming artist blog.
