Need plans for spring break? Want to have fun while doing something productive? Join us for our Alternative Spring Break to the Outer Banks in North Carolina! We will be doing environmental stewardship with the Nature Conservancy bagging oyster shells, building oyster mats and oyster reef as well as plant marsh and upland plant habitat. Come have fun exploring the Outer Banks and helping the environment!

Alpha Phi Omega is a national, co-ed Service Fraternity founded upon the principles of the Boy Scouts of America. Under the guiding principles of leadership, friendship, and service, APhiO provides members the opportunity to develop their leadership skills as they volunteer on our campus, in our community, and for our nation.
Alpha Phi Omega has more than 25,000 active members in 360 chapters across the nation. Last year alone, our chapter at EKU volunteered more than 2000 hours of service for numerous organizations here in Madison County and across Kentucky. Additionally, members have the chance to make friends with a diverse set of individuals, all of whom share a sincere desire to give back though helping others.

Hey ladies! Don't forget that you can exercise in the Fitness & Wellness Center Group Fitness Studio on Wednesdays from 1-2pm. The space is reserved for a Women's only Workout so you can use any of the equipment for your own personal exercises.
The Group Fitness Studio offers a wide variety of equipment such as dumbbells, TRX Equipment, stationary bicycles, medicine balls, yoga equipment and much more!

"The Children's March" tells the story of how the young people of Birmingham, Alabama, braved fire hoses and police dogs in 1963 and brought segregation to its knees. Their heroism complements discussions about the ability of today's young people to be catalysts for positive social change.

The Risk Management and Insurance degree program and Gamma Iota Sigma will host a FrostBite 5K to benefit the Court Appointed Special Advocates for children of Madison County.
Starting and finishing at the Business and Technology Center, the 5K will include the scenic one-mile wood chip trail located on campus. All runners, walkers, joggers and supporters of those in the race are welcome! Help make a difference in the lives of neglected and abused children and run for a good cause!
