Our office provides many opportunities for scholarships for current students. This application applies you for the Alumni and over 100 foundation scholarships. There are a few scholarships that are listed on the application that require additional essays. The deadline for the application is April 1st. You must complete the application and submit two letters of recommendation letters to be considered. The essays are optional.

Another scholarship that we offer here at EKU is the Retention scholarship. The Retention scholarship is intended for applicants who entered EKU in either summer or fall of the current year as first time freshman and will return in the fall of the next year. Please check our website for the furher information about additional criteria for the scholarship. The Retention scholarship deadline is May 1st.

A juried art exhibition at EKU’s Giles Gallery Jan. 22-Feb. 22 will examine the “Crossroads” theme of this year’s Chautauqua Lecture Series.

The event, which features 60 entries from 39 artists, is sponsored by the Department of Art and Design, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Chautauqua Lecture Series.

There will be a meeting for officers and those interested in being an officer at 6:00. There are only 3 more positions to fill, so if you want an 'officer position' to place in your resume and to be a part of a great society that reaches out to others, come on out.The meeting is in the bar area.

There will be bowling, pizza and fun following the meeting at 7:00.

EKU's Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Quick Recall Team are excited to sponsor EKU's first annual March Madness Quiz Bowl! We would like to invite your organization to take part in this fun event! The Quiz Bowl will be a friendly competition that test students' knowledge on a wide range of topics.

When? March 4-7, 6-10 PM each night (number of teams will determine number of nights and duration).

What's in it for you? PRIZES will be awarded to the top four teams and of course, bragging rights go to the winners. 1st place will receive $250, 2nd place: $150, 3rd place: $100 and 4th place: $75 for your organization.

We hope you will help us make the Quiz Bowl a successful annual event.

The EKU opera workshop presents "Bullies Beware", a two night opera performance on Friday, February 15th at 8pm & Saturday, February 16th at 2pm. Both performances will be held in SSB's O'Donnell Auditorium and cost $5 for Adults/$2 for Students.
