The Department of Recreation and Park Administration is proud to offer a partial semester course during the month of April! REC 101 will run from April 2 - May 2 and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:45pm.

If you are interested in learning about careers in parks, natural resources, therapeutic recreation, and tourism this would be a great class for you!

REC 101 is a one credit hour class that meets for the last 5 weeks of the Spring semester.

The campus community is invited to an Open Forum with Presidential Candidate Dr. Michael T. Benson today from 3 to 4 p.m. in Brock Auditorium. For those who can't be present, the event will be streamed live, with a link on the EKU home page. The campus and community will have another opportunity to meet Dr. Benson at an open reception from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. today at the EKU Center for the Arts. Forms to offer feedback will be available at the events and online at presidentialsearch.eku.edu/finalists (click More on This Announcement below). The printed forms can be returned to Presidential Search, EKU Board of Regents, Coates 12A. All feedback forms for Dr. Benson must be received by 3:15 p.m. on March 26. A link to the forms as well as full itineraries are under each finalist's bio.

Register at the Fitness & Wellness Center today for the 6th Annual EKU Triathlon. The cost is only $25 for students and includes a T-shirt and gift bag.

Participants will complete a 300yd swim, 7 mile bike, and a 3.1 mile run. Don't want to finish the course by yourself? Grab some friends and sign up as a team!

EKU Women and Gender Studies and the Department of History will be hosting their 8th Annual Herstory Conference. This year's theme is "Civil Rights and Un-Civil Women: Gender, Justice, and Politics." Dr. Cate Fosl from the University of Louisville will be the Keynote speaker for the event. The conference will also include presentations by Herstory Essay Contest Winners and a Faculty Panel Discussion on the theme. Please join us for this wonderful women's history event!

EKU's music department will host a guitar ensemble concert on Monday, March 25th at 8pm in the O'Donnell Auditorium of the SSB. Free and open to the public.

EKU music student Scott Sams will present his senior oboe recital on Monday, March 25th at 6pm in the Gifford Theater. Free and open to the public.
