Wilderness Medicine Institute: Wilderness First Aid
EKU Adventure Programs is happy to announce that we will be offering the National Outdoor Leadership School's Wilderness Medicine Institute Wilderness First Aid certification November 20-22. This course will be merely a weekend in length and taught in partnership with Landmark Learning of Cullowhee, North Carolina. Course instruction will take place at EKU's Maywoods Natural Area and cost $165 for EKU students, faculty, and staff, to include tuition and lodging.
This course is a great opportunity for those wishing to develop themselves in the field of backcountry medicine or anyone considering a career in the outdoors (Forestry, Fish & Wildlife, Tourism, Recreation & Parks).
