Noel Studio Chicago Citation Style Workshop

Chicago is more than the largest city in the United States of America. It is more than one of the longest-running and most successful rock groups in history. Chicago is a manual of style. Consequently, if you find yourself seated with a bunch of chatty historians at your next dinner party, or if you’re looking to join the American Anthropological Association anytime soon, you might want to familiarize yourself with Chicago Style.

The Noel Studio can help.

If you’ve ever felt a burning desire to know more about the Chicago style, or even if your only Chicago needs are related to your next History or Honors research paper, visit the Noel Studio Discovery Classroom on Monday, March 18, for one of two free workshops:

Citation & Documentation: Chicago Style -- 2:30pm-3:20pm
Citation & Documentation: Chicago Style -- 3:35pm-4:25pm

The workshops will cover the importance of properly documenting sources, explain how and why different disciplines employ different documentation styles, and share tips and techniques for citing and documenting sources for an academic paper. The workshop will be interactive and attendees will be encouraged to ask and answer questions.

Proof of attendance will be provided.
