ATTENTION GRADUATING STUDENTS!! COMMENCEMENT SPEAKERS WANTED!!
Attention Graduating Students!!
The Division of Student Affairs and the Commencement Speaker Committee are looking for three graduating students (one for the morning exercise, afternoon exercise, and evening exercise) to share their Eastern Kentucky University experience. The students selected will represent the student body at the May 11, 2013 Commencement exercises. If you are registered for spring graduation, and would like to apply for this honor, please submit the following no later than Friday, March 29th, 2013:
A Cover Page that includes some basic information about yourself including your cumulative grade point average, the college you will be graduating from, and contact information (current cell phone or phone number, email or other means of reaching you).
A draft commencement speech of what you would tell the graduating class and guests about your educational experience as well as opportunities you had while at Eastern Kentucky University. This address will be limited to 3-4 minutes.
One letter of recommendation from a faculty member supporting your application.
