WaterStep Shoe Collection
We will be collecting shoes from April 1, 2013 through April 12, 2013 to help WaterStep. These shoes are resold at low prices to people who would not otherwise be able to afford shoes or recycled into new materials if they are in especially poor condition. The money made from the shoes is used to purchase water filtration systems to provide clean water to those who don't have access to it. A water filtration system like those installed by WaterStep will be displayed on Powell Corner from 11 to 2 on Tuesday, March 26th.We all have new or old shoes that they don't wear, so give them a new life and help others in the process. Drop off shoes at the BCM (located on the corner of Kit Carson and University Drive) from April 1st through April 12th!
