Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and author Dr. Eric Foner, DeWitt Clinton Professor of History at Columbia University, will present “The Fiery Trial: Abraham Lincoln and American Slavery” on TUESDAY, March 5 at 7:30 pm in O’Donnell Hall of the Student Success Building.
A recipient of the Pulitzer Prize, Bancroft Prize, and Lincoln Prize, Foner is the author of Reconstruction: America’s Unfinished Revolution (1988), The Story of American Freedom (1998), and The Fiery Trial: Abraham Lincoln and American Slavery (2010).
Foner’s visit includes:
