The 10th Annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Collegiate Business Concept Challenge invites business IDEAS from EKU students. A $2000 cash prize will be awarded to the individual or team from EKU with the top concept. A $250 cash amount will be awarded to the faculty advisor/sponsor and a trophy will be presented to the school of the winning team. The business concept should provide a thoughtful investigation into a new business idea. The idea should be innovative, yet sensible. The idea must be an original business concept suggested by the student and it can be a product, service, or social venture. A general outline for the plan and judging guidelines are provided at http://eiea.eku.edu/collegiate-business-concept-challenge. BUSINESS CONCEPTS ARE DUE MARCH 22ND and must be submitted online by completing the online submission forms, also found at the link above.

Put your 4-person team together and register for an intramural challenge that combines athletic prowess with plastics, paper, and cans to help spread awareness of campus recycling! Winning team receives intramural champions shirts!

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to compete in ten olympic-style, recycling-themed events including:

TOWER OF POWER: make the tallest tower out of 100 cans in 5 minutes or less.

MAGIC PAPER RIDE: Participants must “float” a piece of paper from the base line of the basketball court to the mid court line as fast as possible--using only hot air from your lungs!

RECYCLE-BOWLING: Bowl four frames, knocking down plastic bottles in this "green" take on America's favorite family activites!

TAKING OUT THE TRASH: 4 People, 1 recycle bin. Everyone takes a ride to the end of the court and back!
