The Workshop will consist of advice and assistance from upper level Accounting majors and students who have had real life experience completing state and federal tax returns. Feel free to come prepared to complete your 2012 returns. Blank forms will be available.

In addition, the Society will be taking a trip to attend an IMA meeting in Lexington on April 18th and it is important that you attend this Accounting Society meeting if you are interested in going.

We hope to convince you to join our student organization!

As with all meetings, pizza and drinks will be provided.

The Eastern Kentucky University Choirs will present their spring concert on Thursday, March 7 at 8:00 p.m. in Gifford Theatre. The concert features the graduate conducting recital of Lynne Thomas Parks, as well as a preview of some of the music that University Singers will perform this April at Carnegie Hall in New York. The program will include music by Paul Christiansen, Moses Hogan, Craig Hella Johnson, Morten Lauridsen, Steven Sametz, Richard Waters, and Gwyneth Walker.

Every year, The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi funds 50 Study Abroad Grants valued at $1,000 each.

The Study Abroad Grants are open to undergraduate students (you do not have to be a member) with GPA of at least 3.75 on a 4.0 scale. You must have applied and/or been accepted into a study abroad program that begins between May 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014.
