News Example
To provide website area news that can be updated from the web:
- Change the $area_id in news.php to that of your news area.
(Contact web@eku.edu if you need help determining your $area_id) - Follow the New Page Instructions for news.php.
To include an area news RSS feed:
- Change the $area_id in rss.php to that of your news area.
- Change the $HOMEURL in rss.php to that of your website.
- Change show_dept_news() function calls to show_dept_news_rss().
Don't forget to remove these instructions from news.php!

Instructors can identify the targeted sites by opening "My Places" (at the extreme top of any Blackboard page) and then reviewing the entries at the bottom of the course list. More Information
