The Graduate and Online Council is a representative group of faculty and students who work to ensure quality and effectiveness of Eastern Kentucky University’s graduate and online programs. The Council reviews and recommends policy, procedures, curriculum, faculty nominations, student matters, and online operations to maintain program excellence. The council consists of five subcommittees:

• Executive Subcommittee
• Graduate Curriculum and Policy Subcommittee
• Graduate Faculty Affairs Subcommittee
• Graduate Student Affairs Subcommittee
• Online Education Subcommittee

The 21 member council (19 Graduate Faculty and 2 Graduate Students) meets each month during the academic year. The Council reviews and provides feedback on a variety of curriculum, policy, and operational actions. Typically, the EKU Council meets on the third or fourth Friday of the month with the Council’s Executive Committee meeting on the second Friday of the month (view the calendar schedule below).
