Osbaldiston Named to KCVS Advisory Council

The KCVS Advisory Council provides guidance and subject-matter expertise to define the mission and advance the goals of the Kentucky Center for Veterans Studies. We are honored to welcome Dr. Richard Osbaldiston to our team.

Richard Osbaldiston, PhD 

Dr. Richard Osbaldiston is the Chair and Professor in the Department of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University.  He teaches graduate level courses in research, statistics, and program evaluation, and he teaches undergraduate courses in personality psychology, research methods, statistics, and scientific literacy.  In terms of research, his favorite method of research is meta-analysis, or the systematic synthesis of similar research findings.  He has worked with over 200 students on meta-analysis projects, all of which have centered around the students’ own interests and goals, and many of these projects have resulted in conference presentations.  He also works as an advisor and mentor for students who are interested in pursuing graduate study.
