# Eastern Kentucky University (EKU)

> Eastern Kentucky University is a public regional university located in Richmond, Kentucky. Established in 1874 and known as "The School of Opportunity," EKU offers more than 100 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs across six academic colleges and 100% online through EKU Online. EKU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Federal School Code (FAFSA): 001963.
