Dec. 15 may have marked the end of the Fall 2017 semester, but it was also a new beginning for nearly 1,300 Eastern Kentucky University Colonels. EKU’s six academic colleges held fall commencement ceremonies in Alumni Coliseum, starting at 9 a.m. and continuing through much of the day. In all, 1,290 degree candidates walked on stage as EKU students, and stepped off as college graduates. The University awarded 100 associate’s degrees, 962 bachelor’s degrees, 200 master’s degrees, 17 doctoral degrees and 11 specialist degrees. Check out photos of #EKUGrad 2017 below, taken by EKU photographer Amanda Cain, and student photographers Eyouel Mekonnen, and Carsen Bryant. Congratulations to our graduates, and good luck on the next step of your journey!
