EKU Remembers 9/11

It’s been 19 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks changed the course of American history, but Eastern Kentucky University remembers. Today, Colonels reflected on the tragedy, made cards for military members as part of the annual 9/11 Holiday Card for Heroes event, and participated in the stair climb event, symbolizing the flight of stairs first responders climbed in the World Trade Centers on September 11, 2001. These photos from EKU photographer Carsen Bryant and student photographer Aric Young capture today’s remembrance at EKU.
