It’s often said that when one door closes, another opens. That’s why there’s no more fitting follow-up to EKU’s spring graduation ceremonies than seeing the next generation of Colonels set foot on campus. New Student Orientation is a door of opportunity opening for thousands of #FutureColonels.
The class of #EKU23 has traveled from far and wide — all across Kentucky, the country and the world — to Orientation. It is where they will make their first friends, meet their advisors, register for their first-semester classes, enjoy a meal in EKU’s Case Dining Hall, explore their academic programs and get the lay of the land on campus.
Their excitement and enthusiasm have a regenerative effect on campus that seems all-too-empty following graduation. Congratulations and welcome, #EKU23. We can’t wait to see you this fall.
Take a look at some photos from EKU orientation sessions so far, captured by EKU photographer Amanda J. Cain and student photographer Carsen Bryant. Incoming students can still register for future Orientation sessions — there are several sessions remaining between now and August 8.
