The Department of Chemistry (and Forensic Science program) is housed on the 4th and 5th floors of Phase I in the Science Building on EKU’s main campus. This building offers state-of-the-art teaching and lab spaces, research spaces, instrumentation, and stockroom.

Science Building

The Science Building provides state-of-the-art laboratory and instructional spaces well-suited for engaged and transformative learning and cutting-edge research.

Chemistry Stockroom

The Chemistry Stockroom, located on the fourth floor of the Science Building, is designed to provide support to all labs and demonstrations within the department. Students enrolled in a chemistry lab will check-in their equipment drawers here and check-out at the end of the semester. Replacement equipment can also be acquired in the stockroom.

Chemistry Tutoring Center

The Chemistry Tutoring Center offers free tutoring for most of the 100-level courses and some upper division courses. The center is staffed with knowledgeable upper-level chemistry majors.
