Eastern Kentucky University professor Dr. Scotty Dunlap’s passion for public safety and emergency management lead him to an unusual place, Frametown, West Virginia, for an unusual activity, producing a half hour documentary about a group of female volunteer firefighters in what has traditionally been a male-dominated field.

Scholarship, Conference Room Named for Gibson, Jr.

To ensure their father and grandfather's legacy will live on through future generations of EKU students, the Gibson family made a generous donation in memory of Dr. Charles H. Gibson, Jr. to establish an endowed scholarship and to renovate the conference room inside the Graduate School offices in the Whitlock Building.
