Student Accounting 5 Third Party Information

Third Party Information

Important Information

  1. A Third Party Waiver Form is required for any student who has a third party payer needing to submit a payment on behalf of the student
  2. Third Party Payment Vouchers will not be accepted from any vendor that has a past due balance with EKU for a prior semester
  3. The following are not third party payments; please see EKU Scholarships
              a. College 529
              b. Foster/Adopted Scholarships
              c. Police Officer/Firefighter Scholarships
              d. Post-secondary Tuition Waivers

The following Third Party participants will need to see specific instructions below on whom to contact for more information. Authorizations for third party payments received after the beginning of the semester may take 7 to 10 business days to process. If you do not see your third party payment on your account, please contact the assigned representative indicated below, or contact EKU Student Accounting to confirm all required third party payment paperwork has been received.

Rehabilitation

  1. Vocational Rehabilitation

Student must submit all required information (grades, SATS, schedules) to their Vocational Rehabilitation counselor prior to the beginning of each semester. The counselor will send the authorization forms to the EKU Student Accounting Services office. Book requests are processed through the Barnes and Noble Book Store on Campus. Please contact your counselor for additional information.

The Tuition Assistance for Army Reserves is requested by the student through the Army IgnitED portal. Once approved students must submit their Federal Tuition Assistance Authorization to the EKU Office of Military and Veteran Affairs. Kentucky Affordable Prepaid Tuition (KAPT)

Parents and/or students can access their KAPT account through the following link: http://www.getkapt.com/index.html. Once a parent and/or student account has been accessed please review the Guide to Using KAPT Benefits, the Payout Value Chart, and the Forms sections.

The most frequently used forms are the KAPT Billing Authorization Form, which is used for tuition and mandatory course fees only, and the KAPT Reimbursement Request Form, which is used for any other educational expense. Students must submit the Billing Authorization Form to the EKU Student Accounting Services office prior to the beginning of each semester. Students must submit the Reimbursement Request Form directly to KAPT per KAPTs policies and procedures. Please contact KAPT for additional information.
